Brand packaging re-design for the 2007 B&Q Live Outdoors range of garden furniture and games.
B&Q required a packaging style for there own brand garden products. The packaging had to firstly clearly convey the range and the product as this was shoppers primary reason for selection. An icon system was also developed for the front of the packaging which gave a quick reference for secondary information affecting selection, these being dimensions, weight, material etc.
The design of the packaging had to be developed in such a way that the elements could be positioned and scaled using guideline formulas relative to the box dimensions due to the fact that artwork is produced by artworkers at the printers.
